New single – Just the Same

“Everything we’ve lost, everything we’ve gained.  The more things change the more they’re Just the Same.”

Jeff Engholm is excited to announce the release of a new single, “Just the Same”, on Friday, June 13th. The single is a rocker dealing with the powerless feeling we get in a world trying to take everything away from us: our rights, our dignity, and our voice.  The release is timed the day before Flag Day and the military parade being promised in Washington D.C.  It is a protest song of sorts, but it also sings of hope and reminds the listener that “the more things change the more they’re just the same,” and we will get through these turbulent times together.

Musically inclined listeners will notice that non-Nashville chord progressions abound throughout…  And it just feels right.  Daring to be different yet having it all make perfect sense is the gift and artistry of an outstanding musician.

  -Dennis Warner, grammy nominated singer/songwriter

The highest notes, as those of us familiar with Jeff Engholm’s work would expect, are the harmonies. These songs profess his love for The Beatles, Beach Boys, and CSN.
